About Me

I’m Claire Dunford, a communciations professional with 4 years experience developing effective social media and digital communications strategies  for both corporate and consumer facing clients.

I am currently an Account Manager at Social Media Agency We Are Social, and prior to this I was a Social Media Account Manager at PR agency BOTTLE in Oxfordshire where I’ve worked with some of the UK’s top brands, including AXA PPP healthcare, the HISTORY channel, Rentokil, Poundland, DYLON, Fabulous Bakin’ Boys, and Organix baby food.   In 2012 I was nominated for Vitrue Community Manager of the Year and the  campaign I helped design and implement for international development charity Practical Action won seven awards incuding “Best Process to Evaluate a Digital Project” at the Digital Impact Awards.

Prior to diving headfirst into the world of social media and digital communications I was a Real-Life Features journalist and lead a team of journalists writing for national magazines and papers including Cosmopolitan, That’s Life, and The Daily Mail.  Examples of some of my published work can be found here.
